About The MotherLoad

Hello! My name is Denise Walsh, the proud owner of The MotherLoad. I am the mother of 3 beautiful daughters who are now grown with children of their own. I have been blessed with 7 grandchildren so spoiling became the game! I quickly learned that paying the full retail price for clothing that is only going to be worn a few times is really expensive! I wanted to help my daughters and after all shopping for grandchildren is what being a Nana is all about so I started to look at consignment sales and was hooked.

It wasn’t long before shopping resale led to the idea of having a consignment sale of my own and the dream started. Fast forward a few years and here we are. I have been blessed with the opportunity to become the proud owner of The MotherLoad and I thank Alicia Howson for this wonderful opportunity and for making the dream come true. I am excited about working alongside my 3 daughters and making this a sale that you will continue to want to be a part of.

I took my experience from shopping and selling at consignment events and put it all together to make one great sale. Things that I wish other sales had- I implemented. Things that bothered me about other sales- I fixed. The MotherLoad exists to help parents provide for their children without breaking the bank. For shoppers, our items are excellent in quality and outstanding in cost (50-90% off retail). For sellers, we offer higher splits and lower fees than any other sale.
